i know you're enjoying your weekend. i washed clothes yesterday, and don't have any plans so far for today or tomorrow. it's still early here, so i'll see what's up for the day in a bit. i've got to meet some new people who like to go out and do things. i do a lot by myself, but there's nothing like a friend to share with.

Enjoy your vacation Wanda,
I have been busy getting my photography show together. It is scheduled for next Saturday. Franny will be flying in again on Wednesday to help. She said she wouldn't miss it for the world.
I think she just loves Florida and doesn't want to leave. Just kidding. She loves it down here.
I also have the opportunity to take the photos for a new hairstyle book. I hope I can make a living taking pictures. Thats my kind of job.

I can't believe this week is gone and another started... wow how the time has just flown by... oh by the way my Dad said hello...
he is doing great, and getting ready for the weather to change again, we had such a short visit, I can't wait to get back down there to be able to spend more time with him, as well as Bryon, they really hit it off.

I am taking my pictures down this Wednesday from the show site. I have a friend who owns an Italian restaurant on the beach who wants them gracing his walls for sale. I will order a few more prints, smaller size so they don't have to be custom framed and sell them for less. The show quality framing is really expensive. Oh and the local shots for sure. They should sell like hot cakes.
My dentist wants me to hang some in his office to promote me also. Great minds think alike for sure. Again I will not hang the show quality ones. But a smaller size that costs less to frame. They will still look great though. I wouldn't hang them any other way.

it's easier now to put pictures on the blog than it was before. now you go to your blog dashboard where you sign in, and click on layout, then where it says "pictures" you just click on that one, and open up your document where your picture is, and it automatically uploads to your blog, then click "done" and voila! you have your picture posted. let me know if you need some more help. it's done totally different than the way we did them before.

oh ok wanda, you're talking about the profile picture. click on "edit your profile" then go down to photo URL and insert the picture URL there, the hit "save profile." your pic has to be posted somewhere already on the computer in order to have the URL.

Today is a rainy kind of day. So I am organizing my closets and moving things around in case I get invaded by my kids for a few weeks. Next Sunday. Yikes.
And i will likely have a family dinner tonight for everyone. Just because it's fun and I feel like cooking today.
wanda, yahoo has "flicka" to upload pictures into. then that way you get the "url" that's needed to upload the photo to your profile.
carol, when you send me pictures, i always save them into "my documents" under "downloads." then when i go to my blog under "dashboard" and then "layout" i select "pictures", then i select "browse" and pick the picture i want to upload.

I am puppy sitting 2 Shi Tzu's for my neighbors while they fumigate their place. So that makes 4 Shi Tzu's in my house right now. I just tried to have a phone conversation. Futile attempt.

Bryon is wonderful.. he has been giving me vitamins and green tea, making sure the fire is kept going to keep me warm and checking on me to make sure i am okay..

Hi Wanda,
I did have a great day. Thank you. Then I went out for a drink and first date. A very self important, so not my type, impatient person. I almost didn't go out with him..I should have listened to my inner voice. He stormed out after 2 drinks. Told me I was not into him and didn't ask enough about him. Oh, and he wasn't into family. I kind of figured that one out.
I actually laughed when he left. He looked like a short tempered ass. I waited a few minutes, the hostess' asked if it was a blind date. I said, no just a first date that shouldn't have happened.
I really love being single. And the guy wanted to know why I kept people at arms length.
I think I will stay true to me. Some day I will find a nice guy. Or not.

hi wanda, i'm glad you got it figured out. the pic looks good. you have snow already? wow! when winter really arrives, it must get like alaska there in montana. i can't even imagine. i hate our cold here, yet i know it's milder than, say colorado for instance. i'm staying in resting today. you enjoy your day!

Hi Wanda,
I have had a slow start. Bruce Springsteen has been on the Today show all morning. And I have been a fan since he first came on the music scene with Greetings from Asbury Park. Like in High School. I am a Jersey Girl born and raised. On the Jersey Shore and so is he and the whole E Street Band.
I need to go get my daughters flowers after lunch. Finish getting ready for the kids invasion. I am so procrastinating cleaning out the closets. Not my favorite chore.
The dogs had a chase thru the mud so they needed a bath. Like I said a slow start.

Hi Wanda,
Thank you for the offer to vent. I have the pleasure of saying they are moving into their place tomorrow. I gladly measured windows, did the check list for them while they went back to work. So tonight they are all over there emptying out the cars full of their clothes. As my boys will say. "We want our socks, shoes, etc ". The one who is not staying with us has had the car with all the shoes and socks in the trunk. Ahh youth.
It hasn't been bad with the kids. But 4 dogs has been a chore and a mess. Their puppy has been tearing up anything that will tear .. Let's just say everyone is happy the stay was only a week.
But I am the Momma and that's what Mommas do.
I am enjoying the quiet right now.

hi wanda, i figured you must be busy since we hadn't heard from you. glad all is well. i'd rather be busy any day than have nothing to do. we've had real hot and humid weather here the past 2 days, and looks like today is another one. maybe autumn weather will return next week. good hearing from you, and have a great weekend!
